ELWS Workshops

The Office of English Language and Writing Support (ELWS) offers free non-credit courses and workshops to both native and non-native speakers of English on topics such as proposal writing, improving your academic writing style, and oral presentations.  These courses are exclusively for graduate students at the University of Toronto.

 Please note that ELWS courses require registration, while ELWS workshops function on a drop-in basis.  There is more demand for spaces in the courses than there is supply, so we ask that students register for a course only if they are able to attend the full course.  Courses run for 2 hours a week, and vary in length from 3-6 weeks.
