Career Chats – EXPANDED for Fall-Winter 2017-18
We know that career exploration, career planning, and job searching can sometimes be ambiguous, messy, and complex – so let’s chat about it!
Career Chats are informal, small-group, discussion based sessions that bring together current students and/or recent graduates, and a Career Educator to unpack and reflect on experiences, challenges, and questionsrelated to career exploration and planning. We will be using a flexible structure, whereparticipants set the agenda and drive the conversation to ensure they leave with clear next steps.
Topics of conversation for include:
· Career Decision Making
· Exploring Career Options
· Exploring Further Education
· Job Search Motivation
Career Chats are held twice weekly onTuesdays from 12-1pm and Thursdays 4-5pmat the St. George Student Success Centre (214 College Street).
There is no registration required – simply bring your questions, a water bottle, and we’ll provide light snacks!
Together, let’s openly ask questions so that we can build community, reflect on our experiences, and develop strategies to navigate career exploration and job searching.
