DEVELOPING CAREER RESOURCES FOR TRANS FOLKS
Tuesday, February 6, 2018
12:30 pm – 2:00 pm
In partnership with Career Exploration and Education, the SGDO is investigating the development of a resource to support trans, transgender, nonbinary and genderqueer students who are navigating job seeking and career decisions.
We are looking for any interested folks who identify as trans, transgender, nonbinary and/or genderqueer to participate in conversations about their insights into and questions and ideas about career exploration and applying to jobs.
Join us on Tuesday, February 6 from 12:30 – 2:00 pm. Lunch will be provided!
Please RSVP as soon as you can to firstname.lastname@example.org to confirm your attendance.
Some topics that will be discussed:
- Questions relating to how the Career Centre can better support students in the career exploration and job process
- Resources that have been helpful in navigating your own career/job search
- General experiences navigating safety in work places
- Ideas around what format a resource like this could take
Unable to participate on the February 6? Please still get in touch with us at email@example.com with thoughts, questions, or to let us know so we can be sure to include you as the project moves forward.
