Would you like to know what facilities are available for commuters at Woodsworth? Do you want to know about events taking place? Do you want to be involved with WCSA? Do you want to make your commute easier? Do you want to enter raffles and win great prizes to make your commute and time at University of Toronto a great one? All this is possible if you sign up for Woodsworth College Students’ Associations Off-Campus Directory by filling out this Google form. The Off-Campus Directors will supervise this directory so make sure you sign up and don’t miss out on all the great things talking place at Woodsworth for commuters. Haya Adil Sheikh

HAYA-ADIL-SHEIKH-300x200Hey Woodsworth friends, my name is Haya Adil Sheikh and I am your Off-Campus Director for this academic year. I’m super excited to share some of the ideas we have planned for this year and also carry on the legacy of our successful commuter events from previous years. My goal for this year is to be more approachable and to be the voice of my fellow Woodsworth community so that you don’t miss out on anything that takes place on campus. Apart from this, I love doing community service by being involved in non-profit groups at U of T and outside. Valerie Dos Santos

IMG_7947-300x200Hey Woodsworth! My name is Valerie Dos Santos and I am a third year student majoring in Criminology and Ethics, Society and Law, and minoring in Political Science. I am very excited to be representing all Woodsworth off-campus students as one of your Off-Campus Directors! This year I will be working with my co-director, Haya, to host events like WCSA Wednesday and Commuter Appreciation Week. We also hope to create new events and initiatives during the year with the Off-Campus Committee. One of my goals is to help off-campus students become more involved and to feel like they are part of the Woodsworth family. I would like to better the experience of Woodsworth students living both on and off campus. Hey Woodsworth,

Do you want to get involved in the Woodsworth community? Do you want to help plan events and promote the interests of off-campus students at Woodsworth College?

If yes, then becoming part of the Woodsworth College Off-Campus Committee (OCC) is your first big step. You will gain leadership skills, network with fellow students, meet other commuters and help build a diverse and supportive Woodsworth community.

Off-Campus Committee (OCC) members are responsible for planning and promoting events for commuter students with the Off-Campus Students’ Directors. They will also receive recognition for their involvement on their Co-Curricular Records. The OCC is active in both the fall and winter session.
