THE OFF-CAMPUS DIRECTORS AT WOODSWORTH
Haya Adil Sheikh
Hey Woodsworth friends, my name is Haya Adil Sheikh and I am your Off-Campus Director for this academic year. I’m super excited to share some of the ideas we have planned for this year and also carry on the legacy of our successful commuter events from previous years. My goal for this year is to be more approachable and to be the voice of my fellow Woodsworth community so that you don’t miss out on anything that takes place on campus. Apart from this, I love doing community service by being involved in non-profit groups at U of T and outside. You can always email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. If you have any questions, suggestions or just want to talk, I’ll be more than happy to answer any of your questions.
Office Hours: Thursdays 10am-12pm, Room 105, Woodsworth College.
Valerie Dos Santos
Hey Woodsworth! My name is Valerie Dos Santos and I am a third year student majoring in Criminology and Ethics, Society and Law, and minoring in Political Science. I am very excited to be representing all Woodsworth off-campus students as one of your Off-Campus Directors! This year I will be working with my co-director, Haya, to host events like WCSA Wednesday and Commuter Appreciation Week. We also hope to create new events and initiatives during the year with the Off-Campus Committee. One of my goals is to help off-campus students become more involved and to feel like they are part of the Woodsworth family. I would like to better the experience of Woodsworth students living both on and off campus. If you have any questions, concerns or suggestions feel free to drop by my office hours or email me at email@example.com. I look forward to working with all of you to make this an amazing year!
Office Hours: Tuesdays 10am-12pm, Room 105, Woodsworth College.
OFF-CAMPUS COMMITTEE (OCC)
Do you want to get involved in the Woodsworth community? Do you want to help plan events and promote the interests of off-campus students at Woodsworth College?
If yes, then becoming part of the Woodsworth College Off-Campus Committee (OCC) is your first big step. You will gain leadership skills, network with fellow students, meet other commuters and help build a diverse and supportive Woodsworth community.
Off-Campus Committee (OCC) members are responsible for planning and promoting events for commuter students with the Off-Campus Students’ Directors. They will also receive recognition for their involvement on their Co-Curricular Records. The OCC is active in both the fall and winter session.
The off-campus directors are accepting applications for the OCC until September 23, 2016. If interested, please fill out the following form. If you have any questions or concerns, please get in touch with firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com.
