Ever wonder how to talk to professors? How about how to navigate your exams? Arts & Science undergraduate students can enjoy lunch with professors and get advice on these questions.
With over 25,000 undergraduate students and close to 1,000 faculty members, as you know very well, it is often a challenge for students to get to know faculty members beyond the lecture halls. The Office of the Dean at the Faculty of Arts & Science is hosting a faculty-wide Lunch with Your Professors series to bring students and faculty members together to share academic, research and community interests. Each lunch will be organized around a topic to give it some focus, but of course students are welcome to ask for advice on any areas at the sessions.
The first session is on “how to talk to your professors” with Professor Suzanne Stevenson and Professor David Roberts. There is another session in the works for later in October on mid-term trouble-shooting and a confirmed session in November on navigating your exams.
Lunch will be provided! Register at: http://learning.artsci.utoronto.ca/index.php/home/lunch-with-your-professors
