13450039_10153837503500668_6397478641803979878_nThe First Year Mentorship Program (FYMP) has been created to address the challenges that arise for students making the transition from high school to full/part-time studies at the University of Toronto. The program is designed to guide students in their efforts to achieve academic, social and personal goals as a new university student.

This is a group-mentorship style program, where each mentor (an upper year student) will meet with and support several first year students. Based on the first year student’s program of study, they will be matched with a mentor group. This creates the opportunity to make lasting friendships and achieve student goals at U of T. As a first year students, the FYMP will provide the opportunity to learn and grow through guidance, communication and leadership of a supportive community.

The Woodsworth College Office of the Dean of Students wants to support you and help you stay engaged and involved. This is a great opportunity for university development, mentorship experience, and community building at Woodsworth.

Note: The First-Year Mentorship Program 2017-2018 Mentee and Mentor Applications will be made available in late-July/early-August. All first-year students will receive an invitation e-mail.
