Mental Health Certificate

Mental health awareness is important. Help yourself and your peers with the Mental Health Skills Certificate.

Who is this program for?

  • Students interested in mental health awareness who want to fight stigma on and off campus.
  • Students who want to help themselves and their peers cope with mental health challenges.

What does the program offer?

With the Mental Health Skills Certificate, you will have the opportunity to: 

Identify and understand mental health issues that you or your peers may be facing;

Engage in activities to reduce stigma on campus;

Increase your mental health awareness;

Identify mental health resources to support your peers.

In addition to the certificate,you will also receive recognition on your Co-Curricular Record.

In order to obtain the certificate, students must complete all five sessions. If unable to attend every session, an alternate may be arranged.
