50th Anniversary Memory of the Week: Sogand Hassanpourtehrani (BA 2023)
Woodsworth College (WDW) wasn't just a college — it was a source of support and love. I met my best friend during frosh and together we are taking on the world of politics. It was Woodsworth where I became the Political Society President. And it was WDW where I discovered the Criminology degree and where I connected with my Woodsworth advisors. After finding advisor Anne Marie Blackett during the pandemic, my greatest memories became experiencing an (unknown to myself) level of support and care from staff.
After graduation...
Three days after finishing my degree, I was hired to do Communications for Member of Parliament Jean Yip, and be the Political Liason for Scarborough-Agincourt for the Liberal Party.
